Rapidly outgrowing its temporary location near the town square, Arkansas State University Mountain Home boldly embarked upon a mission to develop a new campus. Roller Hall becomes the central focus of the campus, housing the campus library, student services and the main administrative offices. Circular, monumental stairs connect to each floor through the atrium lobby. The three-story building engages the site and opens toward the campus "Village Green." Addressing the client's desire for a traditional campus, the building's materials, form and details borrow from colonial Williamsburg and harmonize with the other academic buildings.
