Working in conjunction with HKS Inc., one of the premier health design firms in the nation, this new Hospital for Baptist Healthcare Systems is designed to accommodate up to 173 inpatient beds with both diagnostic and treatment services as well as outpatient services. The hospital wing is three stories with structural capabilities for a fourth floor. The lowest level contains Food Services, the Clinical Laboratory, Central Sterile, the Central Plant and Emergency. Diagnostic Imaging, Endoscopy Center, and three inpatient care units are located on level one. The second level contains the Ambulatory Procedure Center, Surgery Center, and the three remaining inpatient care units. The Health wing contains the Non-Invasive Diagnostic and Treatment area, a Cancer Center, and the Administrative offices. The remainder of the space in this wing is devoted to medical office lease space.
